Let’s Do It is a practical podcast about sex ed and sexual health. With an Australian-centric focus, Alex and Liz are here to tell you the things you were never taught, answer the questions you could never ask, and have a few laughs along the way.

While we cover a range of topics, some of which could and should get a bit racy, Let’s Do It aims to remain firmly on the side of education rather than titillation. Additionally, every episode that contains sexual content will both be marked ‘explicit', so you can make smart choices about what you want to listen to.

Tackling sexual health and sex education in a sex-positive and queer friendly way, backed by research, and alongside a cast of friends and colleagues, each episode focuses on a topic or person where we’ll discuss appropriate research, health practises, and advice, read out listener stories and answer mailed in questions from you!

Who we are

Alex Robinson is a nerd. During the day, you can find them working as sexual and reproductive health nurse. Out of business hours, they are writing and editing tabletop roleplaying games and thinking about sex. At all times, they’re a nerd on the internet at @pronerdalex and anywhere comics, games or full free academic articles are available.

Liz Duck-Chong is a writer, researcher and filmmaker. Their work has been published in several places including Crikey, Archer, and The Guardian, and she also runs The Love Letters Podcast, which is exactly what it says on the tin. You can find her on twitter at @lizduckchong or photographing cock-related graffiti for a longitudinal comparative study.

Funding

The initial funding for this podcast was kindly provided by four attendees of Junket 2017. This money has been used to get this website online, host the podcast and pay for the amazing podcast art we’re so lucky to have!

Outside of this initial funding, at the present time, the Let’s Do It website and podcast does not accept any advertising funding. If this changes, this will be spelled out directly via the website and at the start of any podcast episode during the funding period.

We now have a Ko-Fi, where you can donate small amounts of money if you've enjoyed a particular episode, but don't worry – our content is free whether or not you can afford to buy us a drink!
